The Cloud Control Panel is a complete web-based UI for ordering, deploying, managing and configuring your cloud services. User-friendly wizards automate the whole process, and with free iOS and Android apps, your can provision and manage services wherever you are.
From managing fundamental CPU, RAM, disk and network resources, through autoscaling and load balancing, to remote console access, it’s easy for you to manage your services.
Pre-Configured Application Stacks
he CoreSpace Cloud gives you access to a huge library of templates for virtual server and smart server appliances running on Linux, Windows and FreeBSD. A template is a pre-configured operating system environment that deploys automatically, and you can also customize and create your own. Our Cloud is also compatible with the JumpBox library of Open Source virtual appliances.
Our Cloud tracks CPU, network, etc. usage for virtual servers and generates charts that help analyze virtual server performance. For example, the charts show the total CPU usage for all the cores of a particular virtual server for a specified time period. The vertical axis shows the CPU usage percentage (CPU percentage is the core-independent quantity). The horizontal axis defines a time period.
Autoscaling is a breeze in the Cloud. You can automatically scale virtual server and smart server hardware resources up, down, out and in according to configurable thresholds. Scaling up/down will add or remove RAM, CPU and disk to your service. Scaling out and in will clone a server or remove the clone as required.
For example, you can set up a rule that will add 4GB of memory to a virtual server if RAM usage has been above 90% for the last 10 minutes, but add no more than 12GB in 24 hours.
High Availability Failover
The CoreSpace Cloud detects when physical servers have become unresponsive, and will automatically migrate virtual servers to a healthy physical server. Failover can be configured to migrate virtual servers to the physical device with the most free RAM, or to maximize utilization for one physical server before migrating to the next. The failover timeout threshold can be customized, and failover can be disabled for specific physical servers if required.
Smart servers also include failover capabilities: if they become unresponsive, they will be migrated to a healthy physical server according to the threshold you set.
Our Cloud gives you free access to the Anycast DNS service, hosted at datacenters around the world. You can use our Cloud to manage DNS for your own domains. This allows your DNS servers to be closer to you and your customers which reduces latency…and increases reliability!
The Cloud allows you to create private networks between virtual machines and physical servers. Also by pushing traffic through a private network, you get better security. This feature is especially helpful when using a Hybrid Cloud model. Basically a private back-end network for your servers!
The Cloud offers an API that allows developers to programmatically manage and deploy Cloud services. In additional to using the Cloud Control Panel, developers can write custom applications that interface within our Cloud.
